Charles "DGUNZ" Alison is a professional mixing and mastering engineer dedicated to helping artists turn great recordings into powerful, release-ready music. As the Lead Engineer of mixandmasterengineers.com run by the company Melrhyinst LLC, he personally oversees every project to ensure the highest level of sonic quality and consistency.
With a Distinction in Mixing & Mastering from Point Blank Music School (London) and certification in Apple Digital Masters, DGUNZ combines formal training with over a decade of hands-on experience shaping records across multiple genres.
Earlier in his career, DGUNZ was managed by Universal Music Group (UMG) Nigeria. Since beginning his engineering journey in 2007, he has worked with artists, producers, and content creators around the world. His engineering work has reached over 2 million+ streams worldwide.
Today DGUNZ works from Lekki, Lagos, and mixes and masters for clients across the United States, the UK, Europe, Canada and Africa entirely online. His work covers Afrobeats, hip-hop, trap, R&B, gospel, pop, amapiano, dancehall and more, and every project gets the same process: careful listening to your rough mix and references, a first version built around the vocal and the groove, and clear revisions until the record feels right.
