1. Agreement Overview & Scope

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") form a legal agreement between you ("Client" or "User") and MELRHYINST LLC, operating as mixandmasterengineers.com ("Studio," "we," or "us"). By accessing our platform, creating an account, or purchasing any service, you agree to comply fully with these Terms.

2. Service Engagement & Project Initialization

Purchasing a service through mixandmasterengineers.com constitutes an agreement for custom digital audio processing. You may purchase services prior to submitting your project media; orders will remain queued in your studio dashboard until stems and reference materials are uploaded. Engineering work commences strictly after full payment clears and valid, readable source files are uploaded to your account.

3. Client Submissions & Intellectual Property Warranty

You warrant that you hold all necessary legal rights, copyrights, permissions, and licensing for all audio stems, samples, MIDI files, and reference materials submitted to us. You guarantee that your files do not infringe upon any third-party intellectual property rights or applicable laws. You acknowledge that the final sonic quality of a mix or master depends heavily on the technical recording quality of your submitted source files.

4. Financial Terms & Payment Processing

All service fees must be paid in full prior to the start of engineering work. Payments are processed securely through PayPal only as one-time checkout payments. Mixandmasterengineers.com never collects, views, or stores payment card information. Payments are not recurring, and no subscription auto-renewal applies.

5. Production Schedule & Delivery Guidelines

Our standard estimated delivery window for an initial mix or master draft is up to 2 business days (48 hours) from the time complete, error-free source files are received. Expedited/rush turnaround options may be selected at checkout. All delivery windows are estimations rather than guaranteed deadlines, as schedules depend on stem validation, project complexity, and prompt client communication. Preliminary audio is provided for review in your studio portal. You may submit specific revision feedback within the purchased scope. Final approval is required to unlock the final lossless download package; final deliverables include the files and extras specified in your order. Approval does not waive rights that cannot legally be waived. Download links and service notifications are provided through the portal and email.

6. Revision Policy & Project Scope

Every standard order includes complimentary revisions restricted strictly to the original scope, stems, and instructions provided upon order placement (e.g., volume adjustments, EQ adjustments, tonal balance tweaks, and effect level modifications). Requests requiring new stem uploads, newly recorded tracks, arrangement modifications, or altered project directions fall outside the complimentary revision scope and require an add-on fee or new order.

7. Cancellation & Refund Eligibility

Refund requests are honored in full solely if submitted before an engineer initiates processing on your project files. Once engineering work or audio evaluation has officially commenced, payments are generally non-refundable for work performed, and artistic adjustment requests are addressed through our revision process. Exceptions for studio cancellation, inability to deliver, duplicate payments, and applicable statutory rights are set out in our Refund Policy.

8. Promotional Offers & Discount Codes

Promotional codes and discount coupons must be entered during the checkout process. Promotional discounts cannot be applied retroactively to completed purchases. We reserve the right to modify, expire, or cancel promotional campaigns at any time.

9. Ownership Rights & Commercial Usage

You retain 100% unencumbered ownership, copyright, and publishing rights over your original music, recordings, and final deliverables. Upon full payment and asset delivery, you hold full commercial rights to distribute, broadcast, and monetize the final delivered audio. Mixandmasterengineers.com retains exclusive ownership of all site content, design elements, code, and branding assets. We use your audio in public portfolio excerpts or before-and-after demonstrations only with your explicit permission. Purchasing a service or approving delivery does not itself grant promotional permission.

10. File Storage & Archival Policy

Uploaded stems, project data, and rendered audio are retained on our secure servers for up to six (6) months following project delivery to facilitate revision follow-ups or backup retrieval requests. Following 6 months, project media may be permanently purged from active storage. Clients are responsible for downloading and maintaining long-term archival backups of all delivered files. Sensitive source files must be submitted through the private order-file upload; chat attachments currently use public media URLs and should not be used for confidential material.

11. Payment Disputes & Fraud Prevention

If you experience an issue with your order, please contact support so we can seek a resolution. This request does not restrict your statutory rights, applicable PayPal dispute rights, card-issuer rights, or filing deadlines. We may contest false or fraudulent claims with relevant evidence. We maintain detailed system logs, communication records, upload histories, and delivery receipts, which will be submitted directly to financial institutions to contest fraudulent claims.

12. Limitation of Liability

We execute all production services with high industry standards. However, mixandmasterengineers.com is not liable for subjective artistic differences, commercial release outcomes, streaming algorithm performance, missed third-party deadlines, or defects resulting from faulty source files provided by the client. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total financial liability is strictly capped at the total amount paid for the specific service in question.

13. Governing Terms & Contact Information

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions periodically. Continued use of our site or services after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
