How is jungle mixed differently from drum and bass?
Jungle usually keeps busier, more swung breakbeats, rawer samples and a deep, reggae-rooted bassline, while modern drum and bass tends toward tighter drums and heavily designed bass. We have a separate drum and bass page; this one focuses on jungle.
Can you make my track sound like 90s jungle?
Yes. Sampler-style grit, a warmer top end and tape saturation can recall classic 90s jungle, while the sub stays solid enough for today's sound systems.
